Conference Agenda: Day 1

9am start

9am - 10.30am: How HR Advisors can be culture champions

In our first keynote session, international HR guru Angela Atkins will cover off what factors make up the culture of a company, different ways that you can measure culture and then practical tools and techniques for what you can personally do to create the right culture in your business as an HRA.

Morning tea 10.30 - 11am

11am - 12.45pm: 3 Real Culture Stories: How did they do it?

Our panel of HR Directors will outline how different HR teams have worked through building culture in their businesses and their key learnings that you can use. You’ll also get the chance to work though a Q&A session to ask any burning questions you have.

Lunch 12.45 - 1.45pm

Workshop Sessions:

We spend the afternoon working through some operational areas of HR but also talk about how you can use them to change your culture.

5pm - Day 1 ends. Drinks and nibbles until 7pm.

Conference Agenda: Day 2

9am start

9am - 10am: Creative Thinking for HR

You’ve got some ideas on how you could deliver HR differently, but you need some ideas on how to get managers engaged with this. In our first session of the day you’ll learn how creativity works, and how you can tap into this to turbo boost your HR initiatives and use this with your managers to upskill and get them engaged.

Workshop Sessions:

We then focus on 2 further areas of operational HR:

Lunch 12 - 1pm

1pm - 1.45pm: Employment Law update.

We start our afternoon off with an employment law update on legislation and case law changes that you need to know about so you get the foundations right. And you’ll get to ask any curly questions you have.

1.45 - 3pm: HR Innovation around the world

You’ll now hear about some amazing transformative and innovative HR initiatives that companies are using from all over the world, to change what HR delivers! Perry Timms is a superstar of the HR innovation world and will be presenting this.

3pm - 3.30pm: Action Planning Session

To finish the conference, we’ll have round table discussions about what actions you can take to be culture champions, and capture the learnings from the 2 days.
